Dear Potential Brother,

On behalf of the brothers of Alpha Kappa Psi, I would like to extend you a warm welcome to our Spring 2008 Rush. As our theme this semester conveys, joining Alpha Kappa Psi will put you in a league of excellence, and you will be among the best of the best in the business world. By seeking membership into our organization, you are taking a significant step toward your professional development, reaching your personal goals, and most importantly, finding your home here at American University.

When I first rushed Alpha Kappa Psi, I was looking for motivation. I wanted to be with people that I knew would push me to my limits, help me expand my horizons, and give me something to look forward to every day. I loved the fact that Alpha Kappa Psi was so diverse in its members. It gave me a chance to really broaden my breadth of knowledge in the business world. By interacting with and getting to know all of the brothers that make the fraternity today, I became familiar with all the different aspects of business. The experience gave me a deeper understanding of the professional world, one that I could not have obtained elsewhere.

More than just professionalism, however, I also developed a support system of individuals that I know I can always count on. Not only are they there for me through everything I do, they push me harder than I push myself, helping me grow and learn in ways that exceed my own expectations. Personally, I believe that Alpha Kappa Psi can offer you a unique experience that cannot be obtained in the classroom, or in any other organization. Alpha Kappa Psi has truly defined my college experience here at American, and I am extending you an invitation to our rush in hopes that you will share the same sentiment.
